I t's never a bad idea to get your metabolism revving be- fore heading into Thanksgiv- ing week. And if you were able to do it by participating in a fun and social event like Los Cab's Turkey Doo Dah, all the better. Nearly 75 members competed in the Doo Dah on November 24, enjoying a round-robin tennis tournament as well as a Mexican lunch catered by Los Cab em- ployee Ana Lopez's mother, featuring homemade tamales, tacos and more. "The weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time," said Tracy Harris at the Tennis Desk. "Mrs. Lopez has catered two or three events now, and everyone loved the food. With plenty of turkey and other holi- day staples being served on Thanksgiving, it was nice to have something different." Doo Dah winners Kimberly Cameron, Suzie Torres, Jojo Latham, Sydney Harris, Doris Branscombe and Brendan Baar each took home a Thanksgiving turkey along with a Los Cab sweatshirt. Runners-up Mike Duman, Eddy Palacio, James Ha, Levin Ramadan and Sharon Chase were awarded a Los Cab tote bag filled with a hat and water bottle or wine tumbler. 2 ❘ LOS CAB LIFE ❘ DECEMBER 2019 ● ON THE COURTS FUN-FILLED FEAST ■ ANNUAL TURKEY DOO DAH KICKS OFF HOLIDAY SEASON NEWS YOU CAN USE ..............................
