POOL
PARTY,
DOO-DAH
HIGHLIGHT
LABOR
DAY
FUN
L
abor
Day
weekend
may
mean
the
end
of
sum-
mer,
but
at
Los
Cab
it's
also
a
great
reason
to
celebrate.
Approximately
200
members
and
their
guests
took
the
day
off
September
2
and
en-
joyed
the
club's
Labor
Day
Pool
Party
and
Tennis
Doo-Dah.
The
tennis
event
attracted
about
90
players
for
a
casual
and
fun
competition,
with
every
participant
taking
home
a
com-
memorative
T-shirt.
Lunch
was
catered
by
Stonefire
Grill.
"It
was
a
good
day
all
around,"
said
Tracy
Harris
from
the
tennis
desk.
"We
had
a
good
turnout
even
though
it
was
hot
and
humid,
and
a
lot
of
our
play-
ers
enjoyed
cooling
off
at
the
pool
party
afterward."
With
temperatures
hovering
in
the
80s
and
reaching
into
the
90s,
members
and
their
guests
flocked
to
the
giant
water
slide
brought
in
for
the
event,
as
well
as
the
oversized
inflatable
pool
animals.
The
club
also
provided
free
ice
cream
and
popsicles
for
kids,
and
there
were
plenty
of
games
and
prizes
to
keep
everyone
enter-
tained
throughout
the
day.
"I
think
people
had
a
lot
of
fun
–
it
was
a
really
cool
event,"
said
Ana
Lopez,
who
helped
or-
ganize
the
pool
party.
"We
were
actually
surprised
by
how
many
people
turned
out."
