Chewie is an Australian Labradoo- dle and will be at El Niguel every day to help supervise, greet members and to chase away migrating coots and geese this winter. These birds cause significant dam- age every year, so Chewie is here to help us protect the golf course. Chewie goes home every night with me and is always excited to be on the course every morning. He is almost five months old and his training is going great. He still has a long way to go, but he is getting smarter every day. A fun fact about Chewie is that – according to his breeder – his mother, Miss Poppins, was one of the Labradoodles in "A Star is Born," starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. When you see Chewie on the golf course, please say hello. READY FOR ACTION! When you're in a rush to make your tee time and don't have time to hit the range, there are four move- ments that will help prepare you for your round. The two most im- portant areas of the body that need to be ready for action are the shoulders and hips, and these are the movements we have for you in this video. Best of all, you can do them right on the tee box! FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT HOUND DOG ■ EL NIGUEL'S NEWEST STAFF MEMBER WILL HELP CHASE AWAY PESKY BIRDS
