F
or Los Cab club members
concerned about an injury
or seeking advice on injury
prevention, Restor Physical
Therapy has an open-door
policy. With a free consulta-
tion, the company's health professionals
will answer questions or simply listen to
see how they can provide guidance.
"Once we see a member and do a brief
analysis we can design a program to
work on that they can do on their own,"
said Restor Owner and President John
Horsley, PT, who believes in constant
motion. "That's the best scenario. See
us before you have a problem."
The most common injuries he sees are
lower back, shoulder, and knee, usually
caused by posture and lack of motion.
His mobility-first philosophy devel-
oped over his two-plus decades of field
experience working with top athletes and
being mentored by top strength and con-
ditioning professionals.
For 27 years, Restor has called Los Cab
home. Horsley was attracted to the club
for its pool facilities, knowing Los Cab
would be a good place to offer services
and where people came to get healthy.
Staff includes two doctors of physical
therapy, three assistants, one director of
chiropractic and a soft tissue expert.
Among services to members are man-
ual therapy, pain relief modalities, correc-
tive exercises, biomechanics, balance
training and fall prevention.
"Lack of mobility is the No. 1 reason
that people see us," said Horsley. "It's
best to address any ache or pain early."
