ALL
THAT
LOS
CAB
HAS
TO
OFFER
L
os
Cab
was
buzzing
on
Sat-
urday,
January
19,
as
the
club
opened
its
doors
for
a
Fitness
Open
House
show-
casing
everything
it
has
to
offer
to
current
and
prospective
members.
Fitness
Director
Marianne
Gross-
man
said
the
parking
lot
was
full
throughout
the
event,
as
members
who
regularly
work
out
on
the
week-
ends
were
joined
by
those
who
are
typically
weekday
visitors
as
well
as
plenty
of
guests
checking
out
the
club
for
the
first
time.
Grossman
said
the
timing
of
the
Open
House
was
ideal
since
so
many
people
make
fitness
a
high
priority
when
setting
New
Year's
resolutions,
and
the
club
has
some
new
equip-
ment
and
updated
workouts
to
get
people
excited
about
pursuing
their
fitness
goals.
"The
new
barbells
for
our
Body-
pump
classes
were
very
well-re-
ceived,"
Grossman
said,
adding
that
all
of
Los
Cab's
trainers
and
instructors
were
on
hand
to
answer
questions
and
offer
support.
"Our
Bodypump
classes
and
CXWORX
class
had
great
attendance,
and
other
classes
saw
great
participation
as
well."

CHALLENGE
YOURSELF
L
os Cab members
looking for a little
extra motivation to reach
their fitness goals in
2019 need look no fur-
ther than two of the
club's beloved annual
traditions – the Polar
Bear Challenge and
March Madness.
The Polar Bear Chal-
lenge kicked off January
1 and continues through
the end of February.
Members are challenged
to swim 25 miles or par-
ticipate in aqua classes
for 25 hours during the
two-month stretch.
March Madness runs
the entire month, and
members are challenged
to complete 20 classes
during the 31 days.
"Both March Madness
and the Polar Bear Chal-
lenge have been Los
Cab traditions for over
25 years," said Fitness
Director Marianne Gross-
man, adding that about
200 members participate
in the two challenges
combined. "They are
part of Los Cab's culture,
and members look for-
ward to them."
There were plenty of activities to keep
the kids busy during the Open House.
