WHAT'S ON TAP FOR KIDS > St. Patrick's Kids Night Out will be Friday, March 9 from 6-9:30 p.m. Activities include crafts, games and movies, with pizza and dessert served. > St. Patrick's Day Parade is set for Saturday, March 17 beginning at 10 a.m. Kids will make their own St. Patrick's Day outfits and will go on a parade around the club. Light refreshments will be served, including juice, water, fruit and Chex Mix. No reservation is needed if a parent is accompanying the child. > An Easter Egg Hunt will take place Saturday, March 31 at 9:15 a.m. for kids up to 4 years old, and at 9:30 a.m. for kids 5 and older. P repare your taste buds for something special as Los Cab Sports Village will host the Taste of Fountain Valley as the title sponsor for the an- nual fund-raiser of the Fountain Valley Schools Foundation. More than 30 restaurants will serve a taste of Argentina, Italy, American fare, desserts and more at the April 21 event. A raffle, silent auction and enter- tainment will be part of the ac- tivities that will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the tennis courts. The foundation's 14th annual event will take place for the sec- ond straight year to Los Cab and tickets are on sale now. "Whether you're a foodie or would simply enjoy an evening out filled with friends, food and fun, the 2018 Taste of Fountain Val- ley is the place to be," said Melissa Watanabe, Fountain Valley Schools Foundation Board member and Chair of the event. A bonus for attendees: "This year, due to an overwhelming support of the local business sponsors, we have lowered the ticket prices," said Watanabe. The all-inclusive food ticket is $40 per person for unlimited food sam- pling. Adult beverages will be avail- able for $5 each. The event is for attendees 21 and over. Child care will be available for $15 per child and limited to 50 children. Raffle items are valued at approx- imately $50 to $150, and include restaurant gift cards, gift baskets and more. Silent auction items are valued at $400 to $1,000 for activi- ties such as Disneyland tickets, Newport Harbor boat rides and photography packages. Entertainment will feature music by local DJ John Borack, along with a photo booth that includes a vari- ety of fun posing props. Among the participants are Cam- balache Grill, Maggiano's Little Italy, Barley Forge Brewery, Spoons Grill & Bar, Dickeys BBQ, Nothing Bundt Cakes and 7 Leaves Cafe.
