C
ombining two of many people's
favorite words that begin with T –
turkey and tennis – Los Cab will hold
its annual Turkey Doo Dah Nov. 19.
The event, open to members and
guests, has been held for 18 years
and remains popular because "it
mixes players of all levels and teams
all play the same amount," says Los
Cab's Chris Baar. "It's a great event
and a good way to meet people you
normally wouldn't compete with."
About 100 players are expected
to participate and will be divided
into five-player teams. The tourna-
ment format rotates team members
in and out, allowing players of all
skill levels to participate and com-
pete for a chance to win.
The cost to enter is $35 and in-
cludes the opportunity to win a
turkey, a T-shirt (first come, first
served) and lunch. Signups are open
through Nov. 16. Inquire at the tennis
desk or call (714) 546-2900 .
