12 • THE DIVOT | WINTER 2022
SOCIAL SCENE
T
he holidays were especially festive
this year at El Niguel Country Club.
Our first-ever Tree Lighting on
December 2 was a huge success, with
members drinking hot cocoa and singing
Jingle Bells on the terrace as we lit the tree.
Children of all ages then came together to
build gingerbread houses and enjoy kids' meals.
A couple of days later, Candyland Lane and Breakfast with
Santa brought lots of joy to the Club as families took photos
with Santa, sang songs, participated in face painting, enjoyed
pancakes and more – Chef Bruno cooked more than 732
packages that morning!
It should be noted that all of the festivities that took place
in December would not have been possible without our in-
credible service staff. We produced more events than at any
other time in Club history – even though we were very short
on staff. We did it with a team that showed up and said, Yes, I
want to help! I am so thankful to work with such an amazing
group that cares so deeply for the membership and its guests.
Celebrating the season!
