From our rich history, El Niguel has
developed into a top-tier private golf

California. El Niguel's timeless value

In 1963, an 18-hole golf course was
opened for play in the serene valley at
the heart of Laguna Niguel, California.
The land that had been previously
used for cattle ranching had no idea of
the oasis it was to become in the years
to follow. At the start, the Clubhouse
was simply two model homes on the
#10 tee. El Niguel Country Club was
incorporated as an exclusive Member-
owned Club in 1976 by a group of 23
Founders. The golf course, Clubhouse,
and associated property were purchased
and by 1980 all 485 Equity Memberships
had been sold, giving birth to ENCC
as we know it.
