16 • THE DIVOT | SUMMER 2021 SOCIAL SCENE In praise of mom Mother's Day festivities go the extra mile BY LORI LEBARD, CLUBHOUSE MANAGER S ummer is here, but I'm still reminiscing about the week-long Mother's Day celebrations we had at ENCC in May. Moms deserved to be spoiled after a year of becoming teachers, coaches, and cooks – and this was on top of already playing the hugely important role of rearing our next generation of 3ne young men and women. We were honored to celebrate our moms and hope you felt spoiled. We kicked o& the fun with Monday's Bubble and Bites, which featured owing champagne, appetizers, an open bar, and live entertainment. We also put together a Lunch Date with Grandma, o&ered free meals for mom on Cinco De Mayo, and gave ladies a night o& with Parents Date Night at the Club, an event that provided child care at ENCC Kids Club. In addition to o&ering yoga and a Boot Camp for moms, ENCC set up a Mother's Day Pop-Up Shop with choco- lates, wine, champagne, spa products, candles, owers, cards and more. Adding a unique touch to the festiv- ities, ENCC made available a French Picnic Basket to go that could be used by members to celebrate moms at the beach, the park or in their back yard. The festivities were topped o& with a terri3c Mother's Day Sunday brunch. u u u Book now! If you're hoping to host a holiday event at the Club, contact Catering Coordinator Michelle Linhardt (michellelinhardt@elniguelcc.com). We are 3lling up and would love to host as many of your events as we can. S ome of the sta& at ENCC have taken their knowledge of wine and spirits to a new level.
