Entry is $36 per two-person team and $18 for each additional junior. Dinner-only is $18. Children of all ages are wel- come to participate as are grandparents. .......................................... SUNDAY, AUGUST 18 Family BBQ Night A Texas-sized barbecue will take place from 5-8 p.m. that will feature three tiers to choose from. Tier 1 of- fers hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken and an as- sortment of salads, vegeta- bles and pasta for $18.95 for adults and $9.95 for children. Those who want to step up to Tier 2 can choose Baby Back Ribs, Mongolian Lamb Chops, Marinated Pork Loin Chops, New York steaks and a fresh catch for $28.95 for adults and $13.95 for children. Tier 3 will be announced upon arrival at the dinner but will include Kobe, Wagyu and Venison at the market price. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 Labor Day Weekend Clambake The Club's first Clambake will take place on the ter- race from 4-7 p.m. and will feature a feast that includes clams, mussels, shrimp, lobster, corn, potatoes and green salad. A tri-tip carving station will also be available. Family and friends are wel- come and dinner is $45++ per person. .......................................... MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 Labor Day The holiday will feature two shotgun events, one at 8:30 a.m. and one at 1:15 p.m. with a barbecue lunch served from noon-2:30 p.m. Sign up online or in the pro shop. .......................................... TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 WGA Club Championship The WGA Club Champi- onship kicks off with its first day of competition. The three-day event features a gross format and will also take place on Thursday, September 5, and Tuesday, September 10. Sign up on- line or in the pro shop. FRIDAY-SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6-7 Men's Senior Club Championship El Niguel's seniors will vie for top honors in three flights beginning with tee times on Friday afternoon. The event is $60 to enter and includes a barbecue lunch and awards after Sat- urday's final round. The Senior Championship flight will be played from the III tees, Super Seniors (65+) from the IV tees and Super- Super Seniors (75+) from the V tees. .......................................... THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 Wine & Nine Another fun and stress- free round of golf is set at El Niguel with a 5:15 p.m. shotgun start. Enjoy a relaxing nine holes and cocktails with friends fol- lowed by dinner. Entry is $65 per couple. .......................................... FRIDAY-SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13-15 Men's Club Championship The competition begins with an 18-hole qualifying round on Friday, where the top eight finishers continue to match play. First-round matches will be held in the morning on Saturday and semifinal matches in the af- ternoon. The 36-hole final match is played on Sunday. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 Desperado Terrace Party An Eagles tribute band will put on an internationally acclaimed show full of songs that shaped the 1970s.
