A
fun
day
was
had
by
all
at
the
WGA
Fun
Days
at
the
Beach
on
Tuesday,
July
9.
The
event
provided
plenty
of
unique
and
creative
outfits,
culinary
treats,
and
some
spirited
golf
that
included
a
vari-
ety
of
tees
and
formats
for
the
102
players
who
participated.
Sporting
colorful
beach
attire,
the
team
of
Heather
Gillon,
Terry
Moore,
Sue
Hamquist
and
Leslie
Earley
took
top
honors
in
Gross
competition
by
winning
the
A
Flight.
Net
honors
were
won
by
Debbie
Wulf,
Ann
Folkes,
Sherry
Montsomera
and
Mary
Grillo.
Over
in
the
B
Flight
of
the
Gross
Division,
the
squad
of
Susan
Kane,
Inn
Woodward,
Maryly
LeVeque
and
Marcy
Tillman
cap-
tured
first
place,
followed
by
the
Net
play
winners
of
Tricia
Baumgardner
and
Karen
Burke,
who
came
fully
dressed
and
equipped
as
lifeguards.
Gross
competition
in
the
C
Flight
was
won
by
the
team
of
Pat
Polite,
Jeanne
Adams,
Alice
Thompson
and
Gail
Cimo,
while
the
top
team
in
Net
play
consisted
of
Deb
Dewitt,
Maria
Courtney,
Ruthie
Sheffield
and
Windy
Robles.
A
big
thanks
goes
out
to
Joanie
Roselli
and
her
committee
for
the
fantastic
formats
as
well
as
to
the
pro
shop
and
dedicated
El
Niguel
staff,
as
these
tournaments
would
not
be
as
successful
without
them.
