ummer
weather
took
a
bit
longer
to
arrive
in
South-
ern
California
than
usual,
but
once
it
did,
the
season
kicked
off
in
style
at
El
Niguel
Country
Club.
With
a
Father's
Day
barbecue,
a
Beatles
vs.
Stones
Battle
of
the
Bands,
and
a
Summer
Kick-Off
Party,
the
month
of
June
featured
plenty
of
fun
at
the
Club.

On
Father's
Day,
nearly
200
members
gathered
as
kids
young
and
old
celebrated
their
fathers
by
treating
them
to
prime
cuts
of
steak,
a
whiskey
tasting
and
a
se-
lection
of
craft
beers.
Live
music
kept
adults
entertained,
and
there
were
inflatables
and
snow
cones
for
the
younger
kids
to
enjoy.
Children
also
made
Father's
Day-
themed
crafts
to
provide
their
dads
with
homemade
gifts.

Perhaps
the
biggest
hit
of
the
year
so
far
in
terms
of
social
gath-
erings
was
the
June
22
Beatles
vs.
Stones
event
that
pitted
cover
bands
playing
the
rockers
and
had
the
crowd
of
approximately
220
dancing
into
the
night.
