ANNUAL DOO DAH SERVES HOLIDAY FUN
L
os Cab once again kicked off the holiday season with its an-
nual Turkey Doo Dah held the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
The casual and fun team tournament was a festive affair that
attracted dozens of participants – and while the atmosphere
was jolly, there was also some solid competition. The winning
team of Song Truong, Thaallys, Francesca Ligman, Michelle
Hall and Jason Hall each took home a 20-pound turkey and
Los Cab logoed bags and water bottles. Runners-up Eileen
Simpson, Jake Hastings, Ryan Lum, Herb Achzenick and
Parker each received bags and throw blankets.
"It was a good way to get the holiday season started," said
Tracy Harris from the tennis desk. "Everyone had a lot of fun."

A
group of Los Cab members were among a dozen teams
competing at the SCTA Women Doubles Tri-Level 18 &
Over Sectionals November 3-4 at Newport Beach Tennis Club.
Those competing included, from left, Julie Le, Christine Nguyen,
Francesca Ligman, April Tran, Cindy Chau, Ysa Le, Hatien
Nguyen, Stephanie Chung, and Diem Uyen Nguyen. "For a lot
of our players, this was the first time they went to a sectional
championship," Game On! team captain Ysa Le said. "Even
though we didn't make it to the semifinals, we learned a lot. And,
we received a lot of compliments on our Los Cab tank tops!"
