M eet the Nifty Niners, a Hall of Fame collection of ladies who meet every Thursday to learn the game, play nine holes, and enjoy and meet new friends over lunch. Pictures don't lie and these ad- venturous women are starting to look and play like golfers. The group gets together from 9-9:30 a.m. for golf instruction with PGA professional Wade Wilson, where they learn the fundamentals of the game, including rules and etiquette. Every week covers a different topic. After the instruction portion, ladies hit the course and then enjoy "lunch with the bunch" as a reward for getting out in the trenches. The weekly gathering is a great opportu- nity for women who are new to the game to participate in a fun, social setting. Call Linda Klein at (949) 276- 7954 to take part in future events. >> Individual Eclectic is twice as nice for participants Members of the ENWGA had the chance to "Play it Again," at the two-day Individual Eclectic held on Tuesday, October 2 and October 9. The event allowed participants to try and improve their score on each hole and post a better round on the second day of competition. "Don't we wish we could always do this?" said Tournament Chair- man Maureen Hadley. In the gross division, Tricia Baumgardner won the A Flight, followed by Ann Morris (B Flight), Jeanne Adams (C Flight) and Kathy Aldrian (D Flight). In net play, Sue Pebley captured the A Flight, while Tina Wilson, Susan Kane and Jody Tolly won the B-D flights, respectively.
